Join the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre as a Peer Service Navigator, dedicated to helping women in vulnerable situations. This full time position focuses on service access and support for women experiencing homelessness.

As a Peer Service Navigator, you will assist women from the Downtown Eastside in finding essential supports and navigating community services. You’ll be integral to a team approach, working within an anti-oppression framework to ensure client-centered care. Experience in addressing issues like mental health, addiction, and trauma is critical.

Key Responsibilities:
• Help women connect with internal and external support services
• Collaborate with DEWC staff to promote integrated care




• Organize records and scheduling to meet client needs
• Provide guided referrals to local resources
• Engage with clients empathetically in a fast-paced setting

Requirements:
• At least 2 years related experience with marginalized populations
• Insight into gender-based violence and related issues
• Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
• Must secure First Aid Certification and NVCI
