Join the Baldonnel Elementary team as an Indigenous Student Support Worker, providing critical educational support to Indigenous students and fostering their cultural and emotional growth. This part-time role requires collaboration with teachers and families to ensure student success.

In this position, you will actively work with the Indigenous Education Centre staff to cater to the unique needs of Indigenous students. Tasks include creating working schedules, monitoring student progress, and facilitating cultural education. You will also participate in team meetings and career development to enhance your support skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain Indigenous student self-identification and consent forms
• Develop support plans with Administrative Officers




• Manage accurate student records as required
• Offer tailored academic support for individuals and groups
• Connect students with relevant community resources

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Recent experience with Indigenous peoples preferred
• Reliable transportation is necessary
• Strong ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and values required
