Lead a fulfilling summer as the Senior Camp Counselor at JCC Camp Shalom. You’ll create an inclusive setting while directing fun and educational programming for children ages 5-9.

This role is pivotal in shaping a positive camp experience grounded in Jewish values. You will guide Junior Counselors, assist with daily activities, and encourage open communication with families. Your leadership will foster a vibrant community at Camp Shalom.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute culturally meaningful camp activities
• Mentor Junior Counselors in their daily roles
• Ensure camper safety and engagement in all activities
• Facilitate family communication and program updates
• Participate in camp cleanup and organization

Requirements:
• Experience in youth programming or childcare
• Strong leadership and activity planning skills
• Excellent communication with children and parents
• Commitment to a safe, respectful camp environment
• Availability for mandatory staff training
