Join S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as a Program Officer for Help Lines, supporting volunteers in providing crucial emotional support and referrals. This part-time role focuses on volunteer management and outreach in a energetic community setting.
In this permanent part-time role, you'll enhance the Help Lines service, managing volunteer recruitment and training efforts. You will collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure the service's effective operation, particularly within the Spanish support program for Family & Youth Counselling Services. Your organizational skills and community engagement will make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit and train volunteers with relevant skills
• Manage volunteer records and facilitate meetings
• Promote programs at community events
• Compile reports and statistics for program evaluation
• Assist in staff meetings and agency events
Requirements:
• Post-secondary Diploma in Social Science (preferred)
• Experience managing volunteers in non-profit roles
• Facilitation experience, including online platforms
• Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
• Criminal Record Check required
