Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Consultant with a CPA qualification and 3-5 years of post-qualification experience. You will play a pivotal role by preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, conducting detailed financial analyses, and managing complex accounting activities. Your expertise will support crucial business decision-making and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee quarterly financial reporting processes and consolidation activities
• Prepare complex accounting calculations and journal entries




• Assist in crafting quarterly financial statements and MD&A;
• Execute monthly account reconciliations and internal analyses
• Develop management reporting packages with variance commentary

Requirements:
• CPA designation with 3-5 years of experience
• Background in the oil and gas industry, E&P; preferred
• Previous work with publicly traded Canadian firms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Robust sense of ownership and accountability
