Job Description:

Establish methods to meet work schedules

Requisition food and kitchen supplies

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Prepare and submit reports

Supervise and check assembly of trays

Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

Establish work schedules

Receive and organize deliveries of stock

Carrying/Lifting heavy boxes

Education: Completion of secondary education is required

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required. If the candidate does not have 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate in food service administration,



hotel and restaurant management or a related discipline is required

Familiarity with espresso-based drinks, pastries, sandwiches and café operations

Ability to supervise at least 12 workers.

Salary: $36.00 hourly, 30 – 40 hours per week

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The worker will work 8 hours per day scheduled between 6:30 am and 9:00 pm. On call work is required. Work on weekends and holidays will be required depending on the business needs.
