Reporting to the COO & Vice-President, Administration, you will serve as the primary technology strategist and leader at VIU. Your role includes ensuring the university’s technology platforms are integrated and scalable while promoting digital innovations that enhance student and faculty experiences. Collaboration with academic and administrative leaders is key for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee planning and implementation of technology services
• Provide executive oversight of cloud and enterprise systems
• Lead technology projects and budgeting processes




• Ensure compliance with data and cybersecurity regulations
• Nurture a high-performing technology organization

Requirements:
• Advanced degree preferred in IT or related disciplines
• Senior leadership experience in a complex environment
• Proven ability in technology governance and strategy
• Experience in managing technology investments and risks
• Strong cooperative and relationship-building skills
