Become a pivotal figure in long-term care as the Director of Care, enhancing health care operations in Ontario. Your leadership will empower nursing teams to provide exceptional, resident-focused care.

As the Director of Care, you'll report to the Administrator while being responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. This key leadership position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and addressing safety and quality to deliver outstanding care. Play a vital role in shaping policies, fostering innovation, and supporting the delivery of effective nursing and personal support services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee nursing compliance with all relevant health legislation
• Lead assessment and implementation of individualized resident care plans




• Manage staffing models and human resources for nursing teams
• Conduct budget monitoring and financial trend analysis
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality care

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse certificate with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 3 years in a nursing leadership role
• Knowledge of nursing regulations and quality improvement practices
• Leadership experience in budget and staff management
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
