Become a pivotal leader at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) by directing the Green Municipal Fund and Climate Programs. This role emphasizes sustainable community results and requires strong financial and governance skills.
In the capacity of Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight and performance of the GMF and climate programs. Engaging with federal partners and municipalities is key, as you will lead policy implementation, program growth, and stakeholder engagement effectively. Your visionary approach will enhance climate actions and economic impacts throughout Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive strategic evolution of GMF and climate initiatives
• Ensure impactful investment and program direction
• Oversee governance and risk management processes
• Strengthen partnerships with key federal and municipal entities
• Advocate for program sustainability and innovation
Requirements:
• Significant experience in executive leadership roles
• Robust background in financial stewardship and risk management
• Proven ability to navigate complex investment environments
• Background in public or nonprofit sectors is advantageous
• Fluent in both French and English is preferred
