Ensure safety across Ontario as a Lead Fuel Safety Inspector. Assess compliance, investigate incidents, and engage with the public to promote secure practices and awareness in fuel operations.
In this impactful role, you’ll conduct in-depth inspections of fuel sites, issuing orders and providing necessary guidance. With over five years in the hydrocarbon fuels sector, your role will involve collaboration with stakeholders and a commitment to public education. You’ll support a culture of safety, backed by strong technical knowledge of regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections of regulated fuel facilities
• Investigate safety incidents and root causes
• Document inspection findings and compliance data
• Plan inspection schedules and deliver reports
• Foster relationships with certificate holders and contractors
Requirements:
• At least five years of relevant hydrocarbon fuels experience
• Ongoing pursuit of relevant certification(s)
• Solid understanding of fuels regulations and codes
• Valid Class G driver's license essential
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
