Engage with students and families as an Indigenous Grad Coach at Superior-Greenstone District School Board. This role emphasizes support and programs for Indigenous student graduation and success.

Reporting directly to the Manager and Principal, this position focuses on mentoring students and facilitating their connections to academic resources. You'll play a pivotal role in identifying risks, communicating with families, and organizing cultural activities to foster a supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor Indigenous students and advocate for their needs
• Coordinate academic support and community resource referrals
• Assess and identify students at risk based on data
• Facilitate cultural and community activities
• Report on student progress and achievements

Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work or Indigenous Studies preferred
• At least one year of relevant experience required
• Familiarity with First Nations culture and history
• Ojibwa language proficiency is a plus
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle necessary
