Part time Family Assistant / After‑School Nanny — Elora We’re looking for a warm, reliable and proactive person to help our family approximately 15–20 hours per week across 3 weekdays. We have two kids, ages 5 and 7, plus a large, goofy and very friendly Bernedoodle. The schedule may include a mix of early mornings (around 6:30–9:00 a.m.) and/or afternoons (around 1:30–7:00 p.m.). We’re flexible on the exact schedule (only afternoons/evenings possible) and would work with the right person to find something consistent. Depending on the shift, the role would include things like:

Helping with the kids’ morning routine and school drop-off





Giving our dog his afternoon medication and taking him for a good walk

Light household help such as laundry, tidying, kitchen reset and meal/lunch prep

Picking the kids up from school

Driving them to activities when needed

Spending time with them after school

Preparing dinner and school lunches for the following day

This is not a deep‑cleaning position — we’ll have separate help for heavier cleaning. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, confident with kids, comfortable with a large dog, able to prepare simple family meals, and a confident driver. A valid driver’s licence is required, and we can discuss using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement or a family vehicle. References and a Vulnerable Sector Check will also be required. We’re hoping to find someone who can become a consistent, trusted part of our family’s weekly routine.
