The Therapy Support Assistant plays an essential role within the CASA Classrooms program, offering individual treatment plans and participating in family therapy sessions. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you'll apply your skills in behaviour management and problem-solving to address the needs of the students effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating individual treatment plans for students
• Participate in evaluation and progress review meetings
• Implement therapeutic models in individual and group settings
• Facilitate group activities, including observation and documentation
• Uphold patient safety through proactive interventions
Requirements:
• Degree in social work, child care, or psychology
• 1-2 years relevant experience in mental health settings
• Familiarity with educational environments preferred
• Ability to maintain TCI certification
• Access to a reliable vehicle for work
