About the Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a heated pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone who is friendly, driven and goal-oriented to join our team as our current Sales & Catering Coordinator!
What will you be doing?




Handle all administrative functions of the Hotel sales and catering office. (i.e., contract preparation, filing, answering phone calls and inquiries, organizing incoming and outgoing mail, completing departmental monthly reports, V.I.P. form preparation, showroom coordination, distribution of agreements, managing office supplies, introduction, and regret letter preparation, etc.)
Resolve requests and/or complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; inform the supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied clients. Investigate and respond to crew issues daily.
Identify and qualify prospective businesses from both existing and potential client bases for the sales manager to close.
Co-ordinate travels reservations and expense reports for the sales managers
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Coordinate details with other departments such as VIP amenities, special requests, or other service needs or special handling.
What are the requirements for this role?
High School diploma or equivalent plus 1-year experience in a sales office or related field. Some College preferred. Must speak fluent English.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic math skills are used frequently.
Planning and organizational abilities
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
