Oversee the transformative Supportive Housing for Young Parents program at Why Not City Missions in Brantford, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes caring leadership, robust program management, and team development.
As the Program Manager (SHYP), you will provide strategic oversight and ensure program efficacy. Your leadership will directly influence the lives of young mothers, fostering a nurturing setting and guiding a small team. You will coordinate programming and support essential life skills for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide program oversight aligned with mission values
• Facilitate staff training and development initiatives
• Conduct client intake and progress monitoring
• Design and adapt program content for client engagement
• Supervise facility maintenance and client safety
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in social services
• Experience in leading diverse teams
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access
• Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check required
• Preferred education in social work or equivalent experience
