We are looking for a reliable, experienced nanny to care for our two young children approximately two Friday nights per month.

Regular hours would generally be 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with occasional earlier starts around 6:00 or 7:00 PM for date nights.

Pay: $25/hour for the entire agreed-upon shift.

You are paid for every hour you are here, whether you are awake, working, resting or sleeping.

We have two children: - A 6-month-old baby, who is breast and bottle fed with expressed breast milk - A 2-year-old toddler We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable and experienced caring for two very young children at the same time, including overnight.

Responsibilities - Following both children''s bedtime and overnight routines - Bottle feeding, diaper changes and settling our baby as needed - Comforting and settling our toddler if they wake during the night - Handling normal overnight wake-ups independently whenever possible - Following safe infant sleep practices - Preparing a easy breakfast for the morning - Completing agreed-upon household cleaning while the children are sleeping, including: - Sweeping and mopping - Cleaning the kitchen - Cleaning the bathroom - Dishes - Folding laundry - General tidying The children always come first.

We understand that some nights will be busier than others, and we don''t expect the same amount of cleaning to be completed on a difficult night with the children.

At least one parent will normally be home overnight.





We would not expect someone new to immediately care for both children alone for an entire night.

If, over time, you become very comfortable with our children and we develop a strong level of mutual trust, there may occasionally be opportunities for both parents to go out.

We also do not expect you to stay awake all night unnecessarily.

Once the children are settled and the expected household tasks are completed, you are welcome to sleep or rest between wake-ups. A pull-out couch is available for you.

What We''re Looking For - Minimum 3 years of childcare experience - Experience caring for two young children at the same time - Experience with infants and toddlers - Comfortable with overnight infant care and bottle feeding - Infant/Child First Aid and CPR strongly preferred - References - Reliable and responsible - Comfortable working independently during the night - Non-smoker - Reliable transportation A major asset would be previous overnight experience caring for two very young children at the same time, particularly an infant and toddler.

This is intended to be a long-term, recurring position, approximately twice per month, with dates normally arranged in advance.
