We’re seeking dedicated, knowledgeable, and caring tutors to support K–12 students through one-on-one, in-home tutoring sessions across Calgary and surrounding towns (Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere, and Strathmore).
Whether helping with homework, exam preparation, or building academic confidence, you will be making a real impact in students’ lives.
Responsibilities
Provide in-home tutoring to students in your area
Support students in core subjects : English, Math, Science, and Social Studies (K–12)
Support students studying curricula in English, French, and Spanish
Mentor students and foster a positive attitude toward learning
Commit to a consistent weekly schedule (minimum 4+ hours/week)
Qualifications
Able to commit for the 2026-2027 academic year (next academic year)
Strong knowledge in one or more K–12 subjects
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an asset
Reliable transportation is required
Criminal background check required

Competitive hourly rates based on subject, experience, education, and specialization — positioned above the typical tutoring pay range in Calgary.
$26/hour – French/Spanish/Post-Secondary/Specialized programs
$23/hour – French/Spanish/Post-Secondary
Additional:
+$2/hour for tutors holding a bachelor’s degree (applies to in-person base rate)
