Suncrest College welcomes applications for an Instructor in our Practical Nursing program. This part-time, term opportunity is taking place starting as soon as possible until December 18, 2026 (total contract hours: 453) at our Melfort campus.

The Opportunity:
This is a great prospect for anyone who would like to make an impact on future health care workers, by training upcoming Practical Nurses. The successful Practical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for instruction of the Practical Nursing program, and clinical instruction/supervision of students in health care facilities.

Requirements:

The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a related field.



A Masters Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.

Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical, surgical and pediatric or obstetrical nursing.

Must be eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.

Current TLR Certificate.

Applicants must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.

Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license

Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required

If you meet the minimum experience and education qualifications your wage would be $59.52/hour. This wage increases with additional nursing experience and applicable education.
