In this temporary, full-time position, you will work closely with a Licensed Practical Nurse, applying your skills to deliver safe and effective resident care. Duties include assisting with bathing, transfers, and feeding, ensuring all actions promote comfort and dignity. Your role supports both personal and emotional aspects of residents’ lives, making a real difference in their experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct personal care and hygiene for residents
• Assist transfers in compliance with safety protocols
• Support residents during meal preparation and consumption
• Execute routine treatments as directed by nurses
• Facilitate transport for recreational activities
Requirements:
• Minimum one year in a care setting preferred
• Relevant care aide certification required
• Active registration with CLHA of Alberta
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Enthusiasm for enhancing resident quality of life
