The Opportunity Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Civil Technologist to join our team in our Vancouver office. In this role, working with engineers and technologists, you will be responsible to provide topographic survey, construction inspection, drafting, and design for a variety of public and private section clients.

What You’ll Do
topographic survey, construction inspection, drafting, and design for a variety of public and private section clients with a focus on roads, land development, site servicing, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and storm water management projects in the regional infrastructure group.
Does this sound like you?
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary educational institution.
2-4 years of relevant experience in civil design.
Additional experience that includes topographic surveys using conventional (i.e. total-station) and GPS-RTK survey methods is considered an asset.
Experience in using theodolite and level.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Experience in MS Word and Excel is an asset.
Experience with construction inspection is an asset.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
Valid Class 7 or 5 BC driver's licence (required).
Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules.
