Join WRHN as a Registered Nurse in the Mental Health Crisis Clinic, Kitchener. This part time position focuses on delivering excellent mental health care for youth.

You will play a pivotal role at Waterloo Regional Health Network, collaborating with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team in the Mental Health and Addictions Program. Key responsibilities include coordinating treatment interventions, facilitating groups, and ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and care planning
• Provide crisis intervention and treatment for mental health issues
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
• Facilitate group therapies and support sessions
• Engage in effective collaboration with healthcare teams

Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1-3 years of recent mental health nursing experience
• Knowledge of the Mental Health and Healthcare Consent Acts
• Willingness to obtain Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification
• CPR certification is a must
