As a Clinical Therapist, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team at the Northern Zone, Aberdeen Hospital. Your role involves delivering psycho-social assessments and ensuring effective treatment for clients aged 19 and younger with Tier-3 mental disorders. Expect to engage actively in a consultation group to enhance care quality and collegial support throughout your practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct evidence-based psycho-social assessments for clients
• Implement tailored treatment plans for youth with mental health issues
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for client care
• Participate in regular consultation and training sessions
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards in clinical practice
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in a relevant clinical health discipline
• Minimum two years of licensed clinical experience
• Registration with a provincial regulatory body
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and cognitive behavioral therapy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
