**The Role:**
The Body Controls Calibration and System Testing Team is rapidly growing and is being transformed due to the adoption of software defined architecture.
In Body electronics system test space, we calibrate and validate different customer facing features in functional areas like Exterior and Interior Lighting, Vehicle Access, occupant Protection, Cabin Comfort, etc.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in future technologies GM is introducing in Body Electronics/Mechatronics space.

**Required Qualifications:**
Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Eligible to work full-time hours, 40 hours a week for a term of 12- 16 months (consecutive semesters) starting January 2027
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Proficiency in Embedded C and Python
Candidate demonstrates a high degree of ownership and initiative for their work, and strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of Git
Hub, Jenkins, Git
Hub Actions, Jira
Knowledge of embedded software development using C/Matlab/Simulink
Valid Ontario G Driver License
Auto
Drive, EcoCAR,
or other Automotive related experience/clubs.

The monthly salary range for this role is $4,264.00 to $4784.00.
The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
