Join CanAtom as a Project Controls Co-op and contribute to the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station Refurbishment Project. Focus on cost control and scheduling in a hands-on role.

This co-op position offers students a chance to dive deep into project management processes at CanAtom, a joint venture of Aecon and AtkinsRéalis, starting January 2027. You will assist the project controls team with performance tracking, risk management, and key reporting tasks related to nuclear project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with project schedule development using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Analyze cost reports and variance analyses for insights
• Maintain essential project documentation and reports




• Monitor project budgets and expenditures
• Collaborate across teams during planning meetings

Requirements:
• Current enrollment in a related bachelor’s program
• Robust analytical skills to support reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and scheduling software
• Previous coursework or experience in project management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
