Title: Blinds Assembler and Installer

Wage: $36 CAD/hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Requirements
Work Experience: 5 years or more - related

On site: Work must be completed at a physical location. No remote work.

Work setting: Various locations, Installation, Repair, Service/clean, Rural, Urban area

Responsibilities / Tasks

Install, repair and service interior, exterior prefabricated products

Professionalism in customer service

Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements

Determine layout and installation procedures

Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations

Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies

Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

Supervise other workers

Utilize hand and power tools

Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

Assemble prefabricated parts

Oversee the preparation of sales and orders

Operate automated assembling equipment

Perform scheduled maintenance and service

Conduct site visits to gather relevant information

Provide technical and professional advice

Production, assembling, cutting, quality control operations with industry specific machines and equipments

Maintenance of these industry specific machines and equipments

Use CNC machines for fabric-cutting and aluminium curtain wall components and quality control after production

Operate testing equipment to maintain quality of products

Experience and Specialization




Computer and technology knowledge:

Use computer numerical control (CNC) machine

Equipment and machinery experience:

Hand tools

Power cutting tools

Automated machines for production, cutting, quality control (Laser-punch combination machine, Pipe cutting machine, integrated blind testing / roller blind test system, digital textile printer)

Area of specialization:

Window coverings

Production

Install curtain and window walls finishes

Area of work experience:

CNC Operation

Production

Quality control and assurance

Additional Information
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
