We are looking for a hands-on, detail-focused individual to join our company as a Co-op Mechatronic Technician who will be part of our growing manufacturing team. This full-time co-op position is based at our Port Coquitlam facility. The role will primarily be responsible for the assembly and testing of our latest systems. Depending on the candidate's aptitude and experience, additional responsibilities may include quality assurance and equipment maintenance.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, electronics, or integrated engineering disciplines
Eligible for NSERC funding (preferred)
Available for a 4+ month co-op term (preferred)
Robust hand-eye coordination and ability to perform precise hands-on work
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Comfortable using hand tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and Allen keys
Manufacturing or production experience preferred; electronics assembly experience is an asset
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
DURATION:
4 or 8-month
SALARY:
$22 hourly for 40 hours per week
