CSEC is looking for a Building Operations Engineer to optimize mechanical systems for events. This part time role involves hands-on maintenance and ensuring guest satisfaction at our venues.

As part of Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation, you’ll assist the engineering team in maintaining operations during major events at Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium. Your background should include at least 2 years of experience with building mechanical systems, and an ability to maintain safety standards. You'll be engaged in operational readiness for Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks games, and concerts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain HVAC and ice plant operations for events
• Repair plumbing and refrigeration systems




• Ensure compliance with government safety standards
• Assist with event preparation checklists
• Maintain cleanliness in mechanical and operational areas

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience with mechanical systems
• Valid Alberta Building Operator “A” Certificate or equivalent
• Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail
• Exceptional communication abilities
• Flexible to meet scheduling needs
