Mount Slesse Middle School is seeking a Learning Assistance Teacher from September 1, 2026. Engage with students requiring special educational support through innovative learning strategies and assessments.
This temporary, full-time role focuses on implementing individualized educational approaches tailored to the needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities. Successful candidates will work closely with teachers and families to develop Competency-Based IEPs that promote student success and adapt instructional materials accordingly. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers on the development of IEPs
• Conduct assessments for student evaluations
• Coordinate support services with Educational Assistants
• Provide whole-class support through co-teaching

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar teaching role
