How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
As
a Baggage Handler/Ramp Operator, you will work with an innovative team whose
common goal is to ensure that our customers' baggage and cargo arrives safely
and on time to drive a positive customer experience.
**Responsibilities for thisposition include, but are not limited to:**
Safely lift,load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and fromaircraft
Responsible foron-time connections by guiding incoming and departing aircrafts from thegate positions
Safeguard cargo,baggage and mail from damage, loss, and weather
Safely drive andoperate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors inareas of congestion
Repeatedly liftand load baggage onto carts and ensure each bag reaches itsdestination
Operate baggagescanners and computers to ensure baggage and cargo are routed correctly tothe passenger's destination
Practices safetyconscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Have a highschool diploma or GED/CAEC equivalent
Consistentlymakes safety and security, of self and others, the priority
Embraces adiverse set of people, thinking, and styles
Be at least 18years of age




Frequently liftbags or items weighing up to and including 80 pounds
Be authorized tolive and work in the country you are applying to
Possessentry-level computer skills
Robust verbaland written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, andpronunciation
Be willing towork a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings,weekends, and holidays
Must be fluent,both written and orally, in English
Must currentlyhold a valid Canadian driver's license
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Possession of avalid Canada RAIC and D/A license
