This position supports classroom teachers in implementing effective strategies for students with varying needs, particularly in the primary grades (K-3). The ideal candidate will collaborate with school staff, providing essential supports and promoting universal design in education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing Universal Design for Learning strategies
• Collaborate with teachers on Individualized Education Plans




• Support literacy skill development in early grades
• Facilitate positive behavior support initiatives
• Aid in evaluating and enhancing student progress

Requirements:
• Valid BC certification from the BC-TRB
• Master’s or Diploma in Special Education
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience
• Completed Level B assessment courses
• Robust communication skills in a supportive setting
