As the OHS Coordinator, you will work directly under the guidance of the OH&S; Group Lead. This role combines safety inspections, risk assessments, and safety training development. By promoting safety regulations, you become integral to creating a healthy work atmosphere within our unique research community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular safety inspections of work sites
• Assist in risk assessments and hazard analyses
• Develop and deliver safety training programs
• Participate in accident investigations and root cause analysis
• Maintain accurate safety records and compliance documents

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in OHS or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of professional OHS experience
• Experience in a nuclear facility preferred
• Knowledge of OH&S; regulations and practices
• Eligible to work permanently in Canada
