Contribute to the River Class Destroyer Program as a Project Procurement Specialist with J.D. Irving. Lead strategic procurement for complex engineering and construction projects with this full-time, in-office role.
In this senior position, you will manage procurement strategies for large infrastructure projects while working closely with the Infrastructure Project Team. Your responsibilities include market analysis, supplier sourcing, and contract negotiations to ensure compliance and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop procurement strategies for major infrastructure initiatives
• Conduct market analysis and supplier qualification processes
• Evaluate proposals and support contract negotiations
• Manage contracts and supplier performance throughout projects
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 6 years in Procurement or Contract Management
• Experience with complex construction contracts
• Qualified designations (e.g., SCMP) are assets
• Strong negotiation and risk management skills
