The Township of Oro-Medonte is looking for a Senior Planner to join its Planning Services team on a full time contract basis for up to 14 months. In this role, your experience will guide the processing of planning applications, establish policies, and support community engagement through public meetings. Your contributions will help shape effective land use and zoning practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Secretary-Treasurer for the Development Services Committee
• Advise on planning processes and applications




• Process and analyze development proposals with site visits
• Prepare reports and presentations for Committee and Council
• Collaborate on long-range land use policy studies

Requirements:
• Degree in Urban Planning or similar discipline
• Membership with Canadian Institute of Planners required
• RPP designation is essential
• Five years of municipal planning experience
• Clear Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check
