Work-Life Balance: Minimal travel (only periodic local check-ins in the Burlington/Hamilton area) and flexible hours tailored around your life.
Direct Impact: Work closely with the owner on private holdings without corporate bureaucracy or red tape.
Long-Term Stability: A consistent, trusted role where quality of execution and reliability are valued over being at your desk.
Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Tracking: Prepare daily financial summaries, monthly financial statements, and balance sheets across various real estate and corporate entities,

as well as personal investment portfolios.
Tax & Compliance: Manage all CRA filings, tax compliance schedules, and prepare comprehensive annual working papers for external tax advisory firms.

Special Projects: Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, risk assessment, investment planning research, and operational projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Needed Education & Credentials: CPA designation or equivalent advanced financial/accounting qualification. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Relevant Experience: Strong track record in accounting, personal finance, family office management, or supporting high-net-worth individuals and corporate/real estate entities.
Tax & Compliance Knowledge: Sound working knowledge of Canadian tax regulations, CRA filing standards, and corporate/personal filing requirements.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with modern cloud accounting platforms.
Traits for Success: Absolute discretion and integrity, exceptional communication skills, independent problem-solving ability, and a strong eye for detail.
Location: Must be based within reasonable driving distance of Burlington/Hamilton, ON for periodic local meetings as needed.
