As a Youth Worker in the Crisis Program, you will be integral in providing immediate support and facilitating healthy transitions. This role involves direct interaction, making essential connections, and effectively responding to emergencies within a trauma-informed framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess needs and provide initial resources to youth
• Build and nurture relationships with young people
• Oversee program intake and orientation procedures
• Collaborate on goal planning with multidisciplinary teams
• Respond to crises and manage youth case files
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant social services field
• Experience beneficial but not mandatory
• Understanding of homelessness and associated challenges
• Strong interpersonal and crisis management skills
• Basic proficiency in computer usage
