As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a key member of the finance team reporting to the Manager of Finance. You will support Senior Management, Finance teams, Operational Groups, Information Technology, and Governance and Intelligence teams through the delivery of financial analysis, management reporting, and business insights. Your goal will be to provide accurate financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and decision-support solutions that help drive business performance. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver meaningful analysis, develop efficient reporting tools, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide actionable insights that enable informed business decisions.

Your Responsibilities
Support corporate leaders with financial reporting, including preparing and presenting budgets, forecasts, and analysis of results
Prepare consolidated financial reports for management, including monthly forecasts, cost stewardship reports, annual budgets, and the five-year plan
Prepare consolidated financial reports for quarterly Audit and Finance Committee and Board meetings
Analyze consolidated financial results and perform scenario and sensitivity modelling to support decision-making
Collaborate with Treasury to prepare required and ad hoc reports for external stakeholders
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance reporting and analytical processes while reducing risk and increasing business insight
Design, develop, and maintain reports and reporting enhancements using Cognos tools
Develop planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools and document related processes using Excel and Cognos platforms
Your Skills
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting principles
Excellent knowledge of financial systems, reporting processes, and technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Experience with Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics, or similar reporting and database tools is considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, balance routine and ad hoc requests, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
Your Experience
Post-secondary degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA designation, or an advanced degree in Accounting or Finance, is required
Demonstrated progression of responsibility through accounting and/or finance experience
The expected salary range for this position is $78,048 - $105,365. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
