Join the City of Mississauga as a dynamic Cooking Instructor for Fall 2026. Engage participants in hands-on cooking lessons while ensuring a secure and supportive environment.

The City is recruiting ten Cooking Instructors to facilitate vibrant cooking programs. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for developing lesson plans, supervising activities, and maintaining participant safety. Your experience in culinary arts and teaching will greatly enhance the camp experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead cooking camps tailored to diverse participant needs
• Organize and prepare lesson materials ahead of classes
• Monitor and assess camper progress
• Address inquiries from campers and guardians
• Execute administrative duties for program efficiency

Requirements:
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old
• First Aid certification with CPR C & AED is required
• Must hold a HIGH FIVE Principles certification
• Current Food Handler certification is necessary
• Teaching background with children/youth is preferred
