In this role, you will collaborate closely with the care team under a Staff Nurse’s supervision. Your responsibilities will include personal care, assisting with meals, and encouraging mobility among residents. This position demands solid communication skills and a keen understanding of individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with their bathing routines
• Handle lift equipment for safe transfers
• Offer assistance during meal times
• Follow dietary guidelines from care plans
• Escort residents to social and recreational activities
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of care experience preferred
• Completion of PCA/HCA Certificate Course
• Registered with the CLHA
• Solid English communication skills
• Post-secondary education is valued
