Join the nursing leadership at Glen Hill Gardens as Assistant Director of Care. This new position lets you enhance staff development and ensure high-quality resident care in Bowmanville’s long-term care home.

We're looking for an experienced nursing qualified, either an RN or RPN, passionate about leading teams and improving professional practices. You'll work alongside the Director of Care to manage daily operations, participate in staff hiring and training, and spearhead nursing educational programs, further promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor and supervise the nursing team
• Manage departmental operations and assist in decision-making
• Facilitate staff orientation and competency evaluations




• Introduce best practices for clinical care
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards

Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Three years of nursing experience, ideally in long-term care
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Familiarity with adult learning and educational principles
• Proficient in electronic documentation systems

Lead nursing education and improve resident outcomes at Glen Hill Gardens.
