The Branch Manager is pivotal to ONWA’s mission, requiring solid leadership in guiding program teams, ensuring compliance with community standards, and fostering a safe environment for all members. Ideal candidates will possess significant supervisory experience as well as a deep understanding of Indigenous cultural practices and trauma. Your management skills will be crucial in aligning branch activities with service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and support program implementation
• Enhance team performance and collaboration
• Foster culturally safe environments for community members
• Track and report on program deliverables
• Engage in conflict mediation and support services
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma related to Indigenous Studies or equivalent
• Five years in management or supervisory roles
• Demonstrated advocacy experience for Indigenous families
• Familiarity with organizational governance and relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
