As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, assisting with treatment plans and monitoring residents’ progress. Your responsibilities include applying therapeutic techniques, facilitating self-care activities, and maintaining a protected environment. You will collaborate in a supportive culture and ensure quality care is delivered through comprehensive planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out assigned rehabilitative treatment plans
• Monitor resident progress and report observations
• Demonstrate techniques using adaptive devices
• Train residents in daily living activities
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills
• Physical ability to perform job duties
• Strong problem-solving and clinical competence
• Teamwork ability in a collaborative environment
