Peter Ballantyne Child & Family Services Inc. is accepting applications for One (1) Full Time Child Care Workers for the PBCFSI Receiving Home in Sandy Bay, SK.

Reporting to the Receiving Home Supervisor, the major responsibilities will be:

Providing child care.

Providing necessary transportation and supervision to facilitate family visitation.

Ensuring a high standard of care of all children, youth and families is maintained in all facilities.

Providing home-based support and intervention services.

Implementing program modules for the Receiving Home.

Participating in the overall operation of the Receiving Home.

Acting as a positive role model.

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 12 or GED 12.

CCW training or experience in the Child & Family Services area or related field.

Mature,



Secure and leads a healthy lifestyle.

Commitment to protecting children.

Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Willingness to work evening and weekends, if required.

Must have a working telephone at home.

Knowledge of the Cree culture, language, political and social objectives of PBCN.
