**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Description**
The Material Handler works primarily in a clean, well-organized production environment, supporting the flow of materials between wash, CNC production, assembly, staging, and warehouse areas.

This role combines physical movement of parts and pallets with accurate digital tracking in spreadsheets and warehouse management software to ensure inventory is stored correctly and production runs smoothly.
**Responsibilities**
Move products from the wash area to designated racks, assembly, production, and staging areas in a timely and accurate manner.

Receive finished pallets and skids from the wash and organize them in appropriate storage locations.

Place parts into racks and update inventory and production movements using Excel spreadsheets.

Use warehouse management software (such as Epicor or similar systems) to record and track stock movements digitally.

Operate reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts for approximately 50% of the time to store boxes, pallets, and skids safely and efficiently.

Regularly move between wash, assembly, CNC production, and staging areas to support continuous material flow.

Check production schedules to determine material requirements and prioritize movement of parts and pallets.

Communicate clearly with shippers to coordinate material availability and shipment timing.

Collaborate with the afternoon shift supervisor to understand which materials need to be moved, staged, or left for the next shift.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while handling materials and operating equipment.

Lift and move items weighing up to and above 50 pounds as required by production needs.

Use computers confidently to work with Excel, warehouse management software, and product SKUs.
**Essential Skills**
At least 2 years of experience operating reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts.

Valid external reach truck and counterbalance forklift license.

Experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks.

Hands-on experience with warehouse management software, such as SAP or Epicor.

Strong proficiency in Excel and general computer use, including the ability to learn new software and SKUs quickly.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across shifts.

High attention to detail when updating inventory records and handling materials.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more safely.

Comfort working in a manufacturing and production environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience in material handling within a manufacturing or production setting.

Familiarity with production schedules and coordination with shipping and logistics teams.

Ability to multitask and move between different areas of the facility while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Solid organizational skills to manage racks, storage locations, and staged materials.





Willingness to work closely with supervisors and colleagues to support continuous production flow.

Employees should be comfortable with physical work, including lifting items up to and above 50 pounds, and working on the production floor in standard manufacturing attire appropriate for a clean, safety-conscious facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
