**Job Title: General Production Worker - Night Shift**
**Job Description**
The General Production Worker supports a high-volume manufacturing environment by performing simple, repetitive processes on metal tubing.

In this role, you may work as a general labourer focused on a single process or as a bend cell operator handling multiple steps, such as loading, bending, cutting, deburring, and washing tubing.

You contribute directly to the production of stainless steel tubing used in bus frames, exhaust systems, air bags, and other automotive applications, ensuring each part meets quality and measurement standards.
**Responsibilities**
Perform single-process operations on metal tubing, such as loading tubes into deburring machines, perforators, or other designated equipment.

Operate bend cell machinery by loading tubes into the cell and monitoring the robotic arm as it bends tubing to specified shapes.

Complete additional processes for bent tubing, including cutting, deburring, washing, and preparing parts for the next production stage.

Follow established work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

Use basic quality and measurement tools to inspect parts and verify they meet required specifications.

Monitor machines during operation, identify basic issues, and communicate concerns to the appropriate team members.

Work collaboratively in teams of 3–5, coordinating tasks with coworkers to maintain steady production flow.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and housekeeping standards.

Support long-term production needs by demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and commitment to ongoing work.

Contribute to a positive and social team environment by communicating clearly and working respectfully with others.
**Essential Skills**
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience using quality or measurement tools.

Experience as a machine operator or general labourer in a production environment.

Experience in automotive manufacturing or metal industry operations.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency.

Capability to operate basic manufacturing machinery and follow technical instructions.

Demonstrated work history with consistent employment and clear reasons for job changes.

Strong commitment to long-term work and willingness to complete probationary periods.

Basic understanding of quality inspection processes and measurement verification.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Previous experience working with stainless steel tubing or similar metal products.

Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing settings.

Comfort working in a team-based, social production environment.

Ability to adapt between single-process general labour tasks and multi-step bend cell operations.





Willingness to learn new equipment and processes within the manufacturing facility.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
