Join the team at IMP Aerospace & Defence as an Intermediate Buyer focusing on procurement and supplier management. This pivotal role emphasizes cost-effective sourcing in an creative aerospace setting.

As you report to the CMLU Material Manager, you'll partner with a skilled procurement team to manage sourcing and purchasing needs. Your responsibilities will include executing commodity strategies, preparing RFQs, and utilizing the JD Edwards MRP system. Proactively manage supplier relationships to ensure high standards and participate in Lean practices for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source and evaluate parts from established suppliers
• Prepare and release requests for quotes and negotiate pricing




• Oversee purchase order management through MRP systems
• Conduct periodic supplier reviews to enhance performance
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective procurement strategies

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or aerospace
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems
• Must meet security clearance requirements
• Adhere to safety and health regulations
