Become a Temporary Primary Teacher at Mission Hill Elementary for Grade 1/2, effective from September 8, 2026. Help create a nurturing learning setting until June 25, 2027.

This 0.2 FTE role seeks candidates who hold a BC Teaching Certificate. Ideal teachers should have strong classroom management skills and a commitment to culturally responsive education. Emphasis on First Nations culture and the ability to adjust curriculum is essential to support all learners effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Grade 1 and 2 students with creativity
• Adapt lessons to various learning styles and needs
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere
• Use technology for instruction and reporting
• Engage with parents to enhance student development

Requirements:
• Membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch
• Recognized degree in elementary education
• Proven experience in primary level instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of assessment strategies for learning
