Mining Heavy Duty Mechanics - Kearl - 14x14 - Camp + Paid Flights - Up to $77.99/hr - Fort McMurray, AB Finning Canada is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team at the Kearl mine site near Fort McMurray. This role involves working on large CAT mining equipment in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Candidates will benefit from a 14x14 continuous day and night shift rotation, premium camp accommodations, and paid flights. The ideal candidate is a Red Seal Journeyperson with strong troubleshooting skills and experience in mining or industrial settings.

Continuous shift premium: $3.50/hr and night shift premium: $3.50/hr (when applicable)
14x14 continuous day/night shift rotation with extra 15 scheduled weeks off per year

What You’ll Need Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
Valid driver’s license with a recent drivers abstract
Robust knowledge/experience of 797F C175 haul truck
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Dedication to safety and ability to help drive a strong safety culture
Completion of all Finning S-level courses considered an asset
Strong computer skills including ET and VIMS
Ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
What Will Make You Stand Out Preference for advanced electrical troubleshooting skills
Tier 2/4 & C175 series engines experience
Experience in a mine or industrial setting is preferred
