A privately held Ontario ICI Design Builder is staffing up the delivery team on a signature civic project in the downtown core. This is not a repeat of the last one; the building is architecturally singular, the end user is public, and the standard of finish is the reason the job was won. The PM seat exists because the client wants someone owning delivery from the inside, not a coordinator reporting upward through three layers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Full delivery ownership on a landmark institutional build: buyout, schedule, cost, and quality
- Reporting into senior project leadership on site, with no regional layer between you and the decision
- Working alongside significant self-perform capability rather than managing an all-sub trade stack
- Sitting in the design coordination conversations, not receiving the outcome of them

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

- You've run institutional, cultural, healthcare, or higher-ed work where the architecture was the point
- You've held a finish standard through a value-engineering cycle and can say how
- You know which trades can actually deliver detailed work at this level and which ones talk a better game than they build
- You've managed a public or quasi-public stakeholder group without letting it eat the schedule




- You've hired and let people go; you don't outsource the hard conversation
