Toronto

Ontario is in the middle of the largest transit build in its history, and our client is delivering some of the most complex pieces of it. They're looking for a Construction Manager to own that delivery.

If you're a Construction Leader ready to take on more, this is worth two minutes of your time.

You've earned your reputation the hard way, by delivering. Now here's the platform to do it at a bigger scale, with a team behind you.

This isn't project administration. You'll own the work, from early design development right through commissioning and turnover. Stations, corridor infrastructure, the systems that make them run. Your instincts as a builder, your technical judgement, and your ability to lead people are what turn a set of drawings into infrastructure that carries a region.

The Company - One of Canada's most respected General Contractors. Employee-owned, nearly a century in business, and building coast to coast. Their ambition has no ceiling, and backing their people is how they get there.

Let's Talk - Apply now, or reach out directly for a confidential conversation about whether this is the right next move for you.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

- You've delivered at this scale. Transit or heavy civil projects in the $100M to $200M+ range, and you've been part of pursuing and delivering work well beyond that. Projects in the $200M to $1B+ range are the reason you get out of bed, not a reason to hesitate
- You understand how a station actually comes together. The civil, structural, architectural and systems work that goes into complex transit stations and corridor infrastructure. You know how those scopes converge in the final stretch,

and how to hold that sequence together when everything lands at once
- You think in sequence. Building in constrained, busy environments is normal for you, including live corridors where access comes on someone else's terms. Quality systems, technical design integration, and catching problems on paper before they hit the field are second nature
- You speak up during design. You bring the builder's view into design development. The difficult questions get asked early, the scope gaps get found, and the plan stays anchored to how the work will really be executed, with safety and risk front of mind
- You lead from the front. You make the call and stand behind it. You clear obstacles for your team rather than adding to them, you lift the people around you, and you own the outcome. Transit agencies, municipalities, utilities and adjacent contractors all get the same version of you
- You're still learning. Current methods, new technology, better ways of building. You chase all of it and you pass it on. The mark you want to leave is on the people you developed as much as the projects you built

About the Job

What's in it for you? How does this sound:

- Ownership in the business. Share in what you help build. A high-performing, employee-owned firm with an outstanding equity program, strong benefits, and a genuine commitment to its people

- A backlog built to last. Significant transit work already secured, with bigger ambitions beyond it. You're joining on the way up and helping decide where it goes next
- Mentorship and a real path forward. A senior leadership team that takes developing the next generation seriously. Defined pathways, genuine internal support, and a culture that pulls in one direction
- The people around you. Some of the sharpest construction professionals in Ontario, on projects that visibly change how a region moves
- Almost 100 years, and breadth across sectors. A coast-to-coast reputation for quality, integrity and results. Transit and stations may be your focus, but the wider business builds across Municipal Infrastructure, Healthcare, Defence, Post-Secondary, Sport & Event Facilities, Life Sciences, Long-Term Care, Heavy Industrial and Manufacturing. That range keeps them agile, and it gives you options over a career
