Mammoth Equipment is a manufacturer of diesel exhaust systems and accessories, providing exhaust solutions for the Mining Industry for over 40 years.

We are growing rapidly and looking to expand our Metal Fabrication team as we recently moved into a larger facility.

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with previous metal working experience.

Candidate should be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be detail oriented.

Requirements of the job include:

- The ability to read and interpret parts drawings.
- Proficiency with hand held measuring equipment.
- Robust geometry background and geometric cutting experience a must.
- Operation of metal working and machining equipment (drill press, band-saw, vertical saw, hydraulic press, hydraulic sheers, rotary roller, pinch roller, press brake, etc.)
- Experience using jigs/fixtures to fit the parts together
- Experience with plasma cutter or MIG Welding considered an asset.

Daily Tasks:

- Fitting of tubing, metal donuts, sheets, flat bar, etc. from request list
- Forming sheets, flat bar, pre-cuts, etc. Using roller, press brake
- Loading parts in cart for transfer to welding shop
- Clean-up equipment and work area

Qualifications:

- Previous Metal Working, Machine operation experience a must
- Solid attendance record at previous employer(s)

- Read and write in English
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move items weighing 50-60 pounds. Some Team lifts of 100+ pounds

Training:

- On the job training with drawings, equipment operation, and processes
- Forklift training is available in regular intervals
